Helping Dulux Provide Clean Water to Papua New Guinean Communities

​In 2021, Water PNG Limited issued a tender to both local and international companies to supply treatment chemicals for its water treatment plant. ​In addition to chemicals and retail paint, Dulux's range includes other products which were helpful in maintaining Water PNG's treatment equipment such as industrial waterproofing, jointing systems, and commercial construction concretes making them the natural choice. ​

In addition to their current vendors, wholesalers, and hardware stores, winning the Water PNG contract meant a noticeable uptick in the volume of containers. ​To prevent a logistical bottleneck from forming, Dulux engaged Swift to handle the project. With our logistics team, fleet of trucks and warehouse locations dotted across Papua New Guinea, we were able to increase Dulux's logistical capabilities, reach, and warehouse capacity.

Dulux's strong customer focus placed high expectations on Swift to deliver. Each container needed to be cleared from customs, delivered to either a Dulux or Swift warehouse, unpacked, and delivered to Water PNG. This meant handling each shipment with care, keeping in constant contact with Dulux management, and ensuring no delays.
We now facilitate over 100 containers a year helping Dulux provide clean water for communities all over Papua New Guinea.
